Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the new ‘Cylinder Refilling Scheme’, under which all the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Mukhyamantri Ladli Brahmin Yojana are getting a domestic LPG cylinder for Rs 450 per month from September 1.
According to the Public Relations Department of Madhya Pradesh, every woman who is a beneficiary of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will have to register on a government portal by proving information like gas connection ID and Samagra ID.
How to get subsidy
Beneficiaries will have to purchase domestic gas cylinders at market price, while the Madhya Pradesh government will provide the subsidy amount directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. However, in the case of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the government will transfer the subsidy amount to the oil companies, who will then transfer the amount to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
