Regarding this, Indian Oil officials have issued a warning to all Indane Gas agency holders. The operator of Maa Durga Indane Gas Agency said that Indian Oil has made it mandatory for consumers to do e-KYC. The last date for this has been fixed as 31 May.

He said that gas cylinders will not be available to consumers who have not done e-KYC from June 1. This may increase their problems. E-KYC will reveal the connection holders.

Some major decisions of Indian Oil

Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of consumers, many important decisions have been taken by Indian Oil. Which includes safety check and DAC delivery apart from e-KYC. It is mandatory for every consumer to get safety check done. For this, inspection personnel have been deputed by Indian Oil. Who will go to the house of every Indane gas consumer and do free inspection. Earlier, a fee had to be paid for this.

During the free inspection, important information related to safety will be given to the consumers. The stove should be above the gas cylinder. This prevents the risk of fire. Food should be cooked by standing on the gas cylinder. If any equipment is found faulty during the inspection, then consumers will have to pay the prescribed price to replace it.

It is mandatory to replace the gas pipe after four and a half years. If this is not done, there is a risk of gas leaking and fire. Gas booking will be easy with DAC delivery.
