LPG Price Hike: New prices of LPG cylinders have come into effect in the country from today and their prices have been increased. Indian Oil Corporation has given information about the new rates to be implemented from today.

LPG Price Hike: Assembly elections were completed yesterday in 5 states of the country and the prices of LPG cylinders have increased from today. This increase has happened on 19 kg commercial gas cylinder and its rate has been increased by Rs 21 per cylinder. From today, December 1, 2023, you will have to pay Rs 1796.50 for a commercial gas cylinder in the capital Delhi, whereas last month the price of LPG gas was Rs 1775.50 per cylinder.

There was no tampering with the price of domestic LPG cylinder.

There has been no increase in the price of subsidized 14.2 kg domestic LPG. Common LPG cylinder consumers have neither got any relief nor any change has been made in the rates of their gas cylinders. So know by how much the oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders from today.

Commercial gas cylinder became costlier by Rs 100 last month

Even on the first date of last month i.e. 1st November, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by more than Rs 100. These prices of LPG were increased on 19 kg commercial gas cylinder. The festival of Karva Chauth was celebrated in the country on 1 November and on this festive day people were shocked by inflation. On October 1, LPG was at Rs 1731.50 whereas on November 1 its rate became costlier by Rs 101.50 and it became Rs 1833 per cylinder. After this, on November 16, the price of commercial gas was reduced and it became cheaper by Rs 57.05 and came to Rs 1775.50.

What will be the impact of commercial gas cylinder becoming expensive?

The impact of rising cost of commercial gas will be more visible on the food industry and restaurant business. Eating out is going to become more expensive for the general public and the budget for their outings will be expensive.
