Who gets the subsidy?

LPG subsidy is different in the states, people who have an annual income of Rs 10 lakh or more, are not given subsidy. This annual income of Rs 10 lakh is combined with the earnings of both husband and wife.

Cylinder has become expensive by Rs 225 so far

Since December, the price of gas cylinders has increased by Rs 225. In December, the price of the cylinder was Rs 594, which increased to Rs 819.
