Subsidy money will come in Aadhaar linked account
To get a subsidized cylinder, consumers will have to link their bank account with Jan Aadhaar, because the subsidy amount will come directly into their bank accounts. However, while booking the cylinder, the consumers will have to pay the full amount of the cylinder, later the government will release the subsidy together.
Let’s understand from the example- If the price of booking a cylinder in a gas agency is Rs 1040, then the consumer will have to pay the entire Rs 1040 to the cylinder company. In this, the state government will transfer Rs 540 of subsidy to the consumer’s Jan Aadhaar linked account.
