Maa Vaishno Devi Helicopter Service: Now devotees will be able to reach Vaishno Mata temple directly from Jammu. This service is going to start from 25th June. This service was to start on 18th June but due to technical reasons, the service got delayed. Devotees will get two packages for helicopter service from Jammu. Devotees can choose the package as per their convenience.
The wait of the devotees going directly from Jammu Airport to Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan by helicopter is now going to end. This service will start from 25 June.
It is known that earlier this service was to start on 18 June but due to technical reasons the service got delayed. Now this important service is going to start for the devotees on 25 June.
This will be the timing
Because it is summer season and the day is long. Therefore, this service will be available from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Whereas, in winter, this service will be available for devotees from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Devotees will reach Panchhi helipad on Bhawan Marg in just 15 to 18 minutes from Jammu Airport. This important service will be operated by Global Vectra and Himalayan Heli Services. Both these companies are already providing helicopter service from Katra to Bhawan.
Helicopters of each company will make two rounds daily from Jammu to Vaishno Devi Bhawan. Later, the rounds will be expanded. Currently, this service has been kept online by the Shrine Board. Panchhi helipad on Bhawan Marg is important
However, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has constructed Panchhi helipad in Himkoti area on Maa Vaishno Devi’s Battery Kar Marg for the last 10 years. It is currently being used from time to time for VVIP people visiting Maa Vaishno Devi.
But now this important helipad will also be available to the devotees. Because the devotees traveling directly from Jammu to Vaishno Devi by helicopter will land on this helipad.
These two packages will be available
To take advantage of this important service, the Shrine Board has announced two types of packages. In this, one package will be ₹ 35000 per passenger. While the second package will be ₹ 60000 per passenger.
In the sixty thousand package, all kinds of facilities will be provided to the passenger during the Vaishno Devi Yatra. In the package of thirty five thousand rupees per passenger, the Bhawan route is from the famous Panchhi helipad to Vaishno Devi Bhawan which is at a distance of about two and a half kilometers.

Special Darshan without waiting at Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan
After the darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi, free ropeway only car service from Bhawan to Bhairon Baba
Panchmewa Prasad of Maa Vaishno Devi will be presented to the devotees, along with this, snacks will also be given to the devotees.
On the return to the helipad, free battery card service will be available to the devotees.
Without any wait, the devotees will reach Panchhi helipad and board the helicopter and go directly to Jammu airport.
These additional facilities are included in the package of Rs. 60,000 per person
Camera, one extra day is included in this package for staying at Maa Vaishno Devi Bhawan.
Devotees can participate in the Aarti organized in the premises of the ancient cave of Maa Vaishno Devi.
Along with snacks, food etc. will also be available to the devotees.
All preparations at Panchhi helipad are in the final stage
Preparations are in the final stage to make all necessary facilities available to the devotees at the Shrine Board’s very important Panchhi helipad in Himkoti area on the Battery Kar road to Maa Vaishno Devi.
Facilities like Himalayan Heli and Global Vectra’s office, waiting hall, food outlets, security post etc., which operate the helicopter service, are being finalized.
All devotees above two years of age availing this service will have to pay full ticket, while this service will be free for children below two years.

For the time being, to avail the service, devotees will have to make advance booking on the official website of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and to avail the instant service, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board will soon set up a counter at Jammu Airport. So that the devotees can also get instant service.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board CEO Anshul Garg said that for the convenience of devotees visiting Maa Vaishno Devi from all over the country, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board is going to start helicopter service from Jammu to Vaishno Devi Bhawan directly on Tuesday, June 25.
With this service, many types of facilities will be available to the devotees, on the other hand, devotees will be able to have the divine darshan of Maa Vaishno Devi without any hassle and wait.
All the preparations for this are in the final stage. Initially, each helicopter will make two rounds, later this service will be expanded.
