The Haryana government has decided to provide Mahakumbh darshan to the elderly from poor families of the state. They will be taken to Prayagraj under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana, that is, they will be able to take a bath in the Mahakumbh at government expense.
According to the Indian Express report, CM Naib Singh Saini made the announcement here in his meeting with administrative secretaries. This meeting was called to discuss the achievements of 100 days of CM Saini’s government in Haryana. In which the expansion of the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana has been approved.
Mahakumbh Darshan included in the scheme
In a press release issued by the government, it has been told that under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana, the elderly of 60 years and above are already being sent to Ayodhya for the darshan of Ramlala. This scheme includes Mata Vaishno Devi and Shirdi Sai Tirtha. Now, the Mahakumbh of Prayagraj has also been included in this scheme.
CM Saini counted the works of the government in 100 days
On the other hand, in the meeting, the Chief Minister said that under the first 100 days, the present government has taken important steps for development in all areas. These areas are agriculture, education and health. The Chief Minister also held detailed discussions with the officials to effectively implement the public welfare agenda of the government. This discussion was done for both 100 days and five years. Let us tell you that the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj started from January 13. It will conclude on January 26. On that day, the last Amrit Snan of the Maha Kumbh will take place. So far, crores of devotees from all over the country have taken a dip in the Maha Kumbh. Foreign devotees are also included in this.
