A patient living in Ambedkar Nagar in Aundh, Pune, died of corona at his home. If the deceased had got a bed in a hospital in Pune, then perhaps his life could have been saved. The deceased’s name was Santosh Thosar. He was 51 years old. His only fault was that he had developed a corona and there was no single bed for him in any hospital in the entire Pune city. Local citizens say that help was sought from the helpline of the Mahapalika, but the response came due to being unable to help. At two o’clock in the middle of the night, the door of Thosar’s life broke while leading the way to the bed in the hospital.
The hospital gave the body of someone else to the family
In Pune’s Aundh, another news has come to the mind-boggling state. Aundh government hospital handed over the corpse of another corona patient to a family. The administration ordered an inquiry after the family complained. Last week, 90-year-old Rakhmabai Jadhav was admitted to the hospital due to poor health. Upon investigation, it was found out that he had a corona. He died in the hospital. After getting information about this, his son Deepak and daughter-in-law Maya went to the hospital the next day. After going there, he was handed over to Rakhmabai’s body. But when he came to know that the dead body assigned to him was not that of his mother, he complained about it.
After this, it was found that on the night Rakhmabai died, another old lady had died on the same night. Both were kept in the same blanket. Hospital administration says that the body was identified from the other family to whom the dead body was assigned. Whereas Deepak says that how can he forget to recognize the mother who raised him since childhood?
Son made mistake in identifying mother? Administration will conduct DNA test
The administration has come into action after Deepak complained. Inquiries have been ordered and assurances have been given that strict action will be taken on whoever is found guilty. It has also been decided to get Rakhmabai’s DNA test done to determine her identity.
