Maharashtra Covid-19: More than 5,000 cases came after 75 days, new guidelines were released

New Delhi: Mumbai COVID-19 Cases: In view of Kovid-19 in Maharashtra, the local Municipal Corporation Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has released new safety guidelines on Thursday. More than 5,000 Corona cases were registered in Maharashtra on Thursday. This has happened after about 75 days, when so many new cases have been filed there in one day. In the last one week, cases were increasing here continuously, but on Thursday this figure has crossed 5,000. Yesterday, 736 cases were reported in Mumbai. In such a situation, for the rescue, the Maharashtra government has decided to show strictness. Besides tightening the mask, sealing the buildings, the government has also decided to impose weekend lockdowns in Amravati and Yavatmal. Lockdown has been imposed in Amravati from Saturday to Monday.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has released a new guideline for Mumbai on Thursday. Showing strictness in this, it has been decided to seal the building when more than five corona patients are found. At the same time, people quarantined home will be stamped on the arm, under rescue.

More strict action will also be taken against those who do not wear mask. In particular, 300 marshals have been deployed to check those traveling without masks in local and train. A target has been set to take action against 25 thousand people without any mask in the city every day.

Taking care of social distancing, action will be taken against those who gather more than 50 percent of the capacity at weddings, clubs, shopping malls, restaurants, offices, etc. A surprise inspection will be done at these places.




Everyone should wear a mask in these places, and strict action will be taken about it. If the rule is violated, action will be taken against the owner of that institution.

Under the new guidelines, passengers coming from Brazil will also be kept in isolation. Recently, it was told that patients with coronavirus of South Africa and Brazilian variants have been found in the country, after which this decision has been taken to stop it.

Weekend lockdowns have been announced in two districts of the state – Amravati and Yavatmal. In Amravati district, the lockdown will start at eight o’clock at night and will remain till Monday morning. Amravati collector Shailesh Naval has appealed to the people to follow the Kovid-19 protocol from Corona.

Markets, swimming pools, indoor games, etc. will be closed in Amravati. Only five people will be allowed to be present in any religious program. Essential services will not be allowed to be affected.

School-colleges will remain closed in Yavatmal till 28 February. Restaurants and wedding halls will be open but will only work with 50 percent capacity. More than five people will not be allowed to gather anywhere.

Let us know that 4,092 new cases were reported in Maharashtra on Sunday, this happened for the first time after December. However, since then these figures were increasing almost statically, but on Thursday, after 75 days, more than 5,000 new cases were reported in the state.

On Wednesday, 4,787 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the state. This was the highest figure in the last two months. 230 cases were reported in Amravati, whereas only 82 cases were registered on Tuesday. The cases of Kovid have increased in Vidarbha.
