22 people died in the accident so far

Giving information about this incident in Nashik, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, “So far 22 people have died in the oxygen leak accident, while the condition of many people is said to be critical.” He told that patients died due to lack of oxygen in Zakir Hussain Hospital. All these patients were on ventilator.

Fire brigade overcomes the situation

After the oxygen tank leaked at Zakir Husain Hospital in Nashik, oxygen gas spread throughout the area. The team of fire brigade had to come for rescue and the situation has been brought under control.

Acute shortage of oxygen in maharashtra

Please tell that due to the increasing infection of Corona virus in Maharashtra, the situation is very bad and there is a huge lack of oxygen in many districts. Due to this many patients are losing their lives. After this, the state government had requested the Center to supply oxygen by air to the state so that oxygen could be provided to the patients at the right time.

The total number of active patients in Maharashtra has increased to 6 lakh 83 thousand 856.
