Mahindra XUV400 Electric SUV has been launched in India. This is the first electric model from the brand to include the luxurious range. Along with this, many segment first features have been kept in it. The XUV400 will be launched in January 2023.

New Delhi: Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV: Vehicle manufacturer Mahindra has introduced its first electric SUV XUV400. It is based on the eXUV300 model introduced at Mahindra’s 2020 Auto Expo. The special thing is that this SUV has been claimed to give a range of 456 km.

Let us know that the company has said to launch it in January next year. At the same time, by December this year, its test drive will be started in about 16 cities. Post-launch delivery facility will also be provided in these 16 cities.

Mahindra XUV400 is the widest SUV in the segment

If we look at the dimensions, the length of this all-electric SUV is 4200mm, while the width is 1821mm. This width is the largest in the segment. Apart from this, it also comes with best-in-class wheelbase of 2600mm and boot capacity of 378 liters. Looking at the design, it has a bronze ‘Twin Peaks’ logo. The SUV gets high gloss alloy-wheels with diamond-cut high-contrast surface treatment.

Talking about the look, the Mahindra XUV400 gets a completely new front-end. The grille has been brought with LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRL). Also, it gets a new plastic insert instead of the radiator grille.

XUV400 has five color options

Mahindra XUV400 will be available for sale in five colours. It gets the option of dual tone roof in Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Infinity Blue, Satin Copper finish.

XUV400 gets a range of 456km

Looking at the battery pack of the XUV400, this electric SUV gets a P67 certified battery pack of 39.4kWh, which gives a driving range of 456 km on a single charge. Apart from this, it is capable of generating 147.5bhp power and 310Nm torque. Let us know that this is also the best torque output of the segment. The XUV400 has a top speed of 150 kmph and is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.3 seconds.

Charging Capacity of XUV400

DC fast charger has been given to charge the XUV400 electric SUV. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes with this charger, while it can charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 6 hours 30 minutes with a 7.2 kW/32A outlet. It can also be charged from the home socket. A standard 3.3 kW/16A domestic socket takes 13 hours to fully charge the SUV.

Expected Price of Mahindra XUV400

The new Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV will be launched in India in January 2023. It is being speculated that its price could be between Rs 18 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. In India, it will compete with models like Hyundai Kona EV and Tata Nexon EV Max.
