Maiya Samman Yojana: Rs 5,000 will come in the bank account of women today. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will transfer ₹ 5,000 to the accounts of more than 56 lakh women beneficiaries under the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’ on Monday, January 6. This money covers two installments of ₹ 2,500 for the months of December and January.
The program will be held in Namkum
This program will be organized in Namkum, Ranchi. Where more than 3 lakh beneficiaries are expected to participate. The preparations for the program have been reviewed by Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.
Changes in the scheme
Under this scheme started in August 2023, earlier women between 18 and 50 years of age were given a monthly assistance of Rs 1,000. But from December 2023, the state government will increase this assistance to Rs 2,500 per month. Some beneficiaries have already received the December installment, while the rest are to be given the money for both December and January on Monday.

Visit the official portal of Maiya Samman Yojana.
Login using login ID and password.
Click on Status Check.
Enter beneficiary number, mobile number or Aadhaar number.
Verify with OTP sent to the registered mobile number. The payment status will appear on the screen.
