Police Inspector Shirish Pawar of Khopoli Police Station said that the accident happened at a point of 38 km on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. After the incident, the car drivers fled with the vehicle, due to which it is not known how many injuries were caused to the occupants of those vehicles. However, some people present at the spot have told that they have suffered minor injuries.
