Yogi government has given a big decision amid Halal certification. CM Yogi has announced to declare November 25 as meat-free day. CM Yogi has said in the order issued that slaughter houses and meat shops will remain closed on the birth anniversaries of great men in UP. Sindhi community has expressed gratitude for this order of CM Yogi.
After the order of CM Yogi, Special Secretary Dharmendra Pratap Singh has sent a letter to all the Commissioners, DMs and Municipal Commissioners of the state. In the letter sent to the officers, it has been said that November 25 is the birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani. In view of this, meat shops and slaughter houses will be kept closed. It has been said in the order that like the great festivals of Mahavir Jayant, Buddha Jayanti, Gandhi Jayant and Shivratri, now meat shops and slaughter houses will remain closed on November 25. CM Yogi has ordered officers to strictly enforce the closure of slaughterhouses and meat shops located in all municipal bodies.
