Mera Pani Meri Virasat Yojana 2021: There is a decline in the ground water level in different parts of the country. Due to which farmers have to bear more expenditure on water required for farming. Due to the submergence of ground water, farmers are now required to get the bore wells deep to a greater depth. Paddy crop requires more water than other crops. Financial assistance is being provided by the Haryana Government to lighten this additional burden on the farmers. While the Haryana government wants to save ground water through this scheme, at the same time, it is also encouraging farmers to produce other crops. On behalf of the state government, it has been said that if farmers produce crops like maize, tur, urad, cotton, bajra, moong instead of traditional cultivation of paddy, then they will be given financial assistance of Rs 7,000. This amount is being given on per acre basis. Apart from this, subsidy of up to 80% will also be given on micro irrigation.

The government did this scheme on 6 May 2020. In such a situation, if you (people of Haryana) want to take advantage of this scheme, then register by July 31. According to the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department of the state government, only those who will register themselves by July 31 will benefit from this scheme.
1- The beneficiary should be a permanent resident of Haryana.
2- Such farmers who are using electric motor of 50 Hz power will not get the benefit of this scheme.
3- Farmers will have to diversify 50 percent of their previous year’s paddy production.
4- Must have an active bank account linked to Aadhaar number.
How to apply
1- Farmer has to login to agriharyanaofwm.com to register on Mera Pani Meri Virasat Portal .
2- After opening the link, enter the Aadhaar number and press the Next button.
3- After this a tab will open, where fill all the necessary information carefully.
