Delhi Metro: On the day of Holi, Metro and DTC bus services in Delhi will not be available like normal days. Metro and DTC have given information about special timing for March 25.
Holi 2024: If you are planning to go by metro to meet someone on the festival of Holi, then it will be beneficial for you to know some things first. Actually, Delhi Metro service will start from 2.30 pm on March 25.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) said in a statement, ‘On the festival day of Holi, March 25 (Monday), Delhi Metro services will not be available on all lines including the Rapid Metro/Airport Express line till 2.30 pm.’
Metro will run normally after 2.30 pm
DMRC said, ‘Metro train services will start on March 25 from terminal stations at 2.30 pm on all lines and will continue as normal thereafter.’
DTC Bus Service
Like the metro, DTC buses will also not run till 2 pm on Holi. DTC said that in view of Holi festival, all city bus services will remain suspended till 2 pm on Friday.
An official statement said, ‘In the evening shift, some selected buses will be operated as per the service traffic requirement on Russia. Since the traffic load will be very less on this day, only 898 buses will be operated in the afternoon service.
