Metro Station Closed: After the announcement of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) demonstration, vigil has been increased around the PM residence. Due to this, many metro stations on this route have been closed. DMRC has given this information through its official X handle.
Metro Station Closed: In view of the performance of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), many traffic routes as well as Delhi Metro are being affected. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has banned entry and exit at 3 stations of Delhi Metro today, 26 March.
DMRC informed on its official Gate number 3 of Lok Kalyan Marg, Gate number 5 of Patel Chowk will remain closed and Central Secretariat metro station has been completely closed. Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party is going to surround the PM’s residence today, hence this decision has been taken.
Security Update
Due to security reasons, entry/exit at Lok Kalyan Marg Metro station, Gate no 3 of Patel Chowk Metro Station and Gate no 5 of Central Secretariat Metro station will remain closed till further notice.

At the same time, no vehicle will be allowed to stop or park on Tughlaq Road, Safdarjung Road and Kamal Ataturk Marg. Public entry will be restricted in these areas and strict legal action including towing will be taken in case of violation.
After the announcement of Aam Aadmi Party’s demonstration, vigilance has been increased around the PM’s residence. AAP and BJP will try their best against each other on the streets today. Its effect will be visible on the general public also. Therefore, Delhi Police has also issued a traffic advisory.
