DMRC has given another gift to its passengers. Now people traveling in Delhi Metro can book tickets through a mobile application named One Delhi.
DMRC launches One Delhi application
This facility was inaugurated in Metro Bhawan. During this, DMRC Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar, IAS Transport Commissioner Ashish Kundra and Center for Mobility head Pravesh Biyani were present. This integration has been done in collaboration with IIIT-D (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi), which manages the One Delhi app for the Delhi government. Through this application launched by Delhi Government, you can also avail the bus services of the capital.
Currently DMRC is selling digital QR tickets through multiple channels such as DMRC Sarathi (Momentum 2.0) App, WhatsApp, Paytm, DMRC Travel App and PhonePe and Riddler (only for Airport Express Line). Around 1.2 lakh digital QR tickets are sold every day through these channels.

Passengers will get benefit
The One Delhi app is currently used only for issuing digital QR tickets for DTC buses and the average number of daily ticket sales is 1.5 lakh per day with around 3 lakh active users. The integration of issuing QR tickets for Metro and DTC buses through One Delhi app will add another channel for issuing Delhi Metro tickets and allow passengers to use a single app for booking Delhi Metro and bus tickets. Facility will be available.
This partnership will make traveling by Delhi Metro even more convenient. At the same time, passengers will get all the facilities on a single application. This app is for both bus and metro. On this app you will have to enter your starting point and destination and it will tell you the complete route. Apart from this, it will also give the complete schedule of the metro. So now you do not need to use different applications.

You can download this app of Delhi Metro from Google Play Store. However, the updated version of this application has not arrived yet. DMRC says that soon its updated version will be available on Play Store.
