Metro Tickets: Now metro tickets are also being booked through WhatsApp, Facebook is making income plan

Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President of Meta India, says that a large number of businesses in India are now going digital. People are adopting new changes. Therefore, there is immense growth potential for Facebook-Meta here. WhatsApp will have a special role in this also.

‘Metro tickets are being booked through WhatsApp’

He said a big thing about the increasing use of WhatsApp. He said that nowadays almost all sectors are using WhatsApp, be it banking or e-commerce and gaming. At the same time, small businessmen are using WhatsApp to reach new customers. People rely on WhatsApp for everything from paying bills to selling metro tickets to sending bank statements. This service has started for Chennai Metro and it is possible that soon more metro systems will also be connected to it.

New feature WhatsApp Flows arrived

Recently WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to help business. Its name is WhatsApp Flow. This feature allows customers to book reservations, delivery of luggage and web check-in for flights right in the chat. People can book their orders on Jio Mart through WhatsApp. Regarding this, the company says that this is the first such feature of its kind in the world.

Not only this, Facebook-Meta is also currently working together with companies like Razorpay and PayU, through which emphasis will be laid on making payment as easy as chatting. At the same time, the company’s emphasis is also on how to work with businesses in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities of India. Facebook-Meta has 44 crore users in India. There are a total of 20 crore businesses worldwide on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp will become the engine of growth

Sandhya Devanathan says that if someone asks her honestly, she will say that right now Facebook-Meta is working on WhatsApp in a very modest way. Whereas if we look at the possibilities of WhatsApp, then it is a different engine of growth for the company in India. That’s why Facebook-Meta is now also planning income from WhatsApp. This is one of the first priorities of the company.
