The official said that soon the facility of ticket payment through UPI will be provided in Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section, New Garia-Ruby section of Orange Line and Joka-Taratala of Purple Line.
Payment through UPI is also possible in Delhi Metro.
Let us tell you that in Delhi Metro also, passengers can use UPI for purchasing tickets or recharging smart cards. For this they have to scan the QR code from the screen installed at the ticket counter.
