The rule of presence of maximum of 50 people will be applicable in marriage ceremonies and even more than 20 people will not be able to attend the last rites.




School-college closed till April 30, city bus service also closed

It has been decided to keep the school-college closed till April 30, but all the pre-decided examinations including 10th and 12th examinations, MPSC, can be taken as per the scheduled time. It will be necessary to follow only the corona rules. It has been decided to stop Pune’s city bus service i.e. PMPL service for one week. This has been done to break the chain of corona infection. But the state transport bus service from one city to another city will continue.

Office operational at 50% capacity, mall-cinema-religious venue closed

It has been decided that the offices will be operational with 50 percent capacity. This rule is already in force. Emphasis will be laid on doing as much work from home as possible. Malls, theaters and religious places will remain completely closed for the next 7 days. Meanwhile, the speed of vaccination will be increased. More than 80 thousand vaccination targets will be met every day.

Corona positivity rate reaches 32 percent in Pune

On Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar held a meeting with the Pune office bearers in Pune. Ajit Pawar is the patron minister of Pune. After this meeting, Pune departmental commissioner Saurabh Rao announced a mini-lockdown in Pune in a press conference. Commissioner Saurabh Rao said that the corona positivity rate in Pune has exceeded 32 percent. That is, out of every 100 people tested, 32 people are coming out corona positive. Saurabh Rao said that due to the seriousness of the situation, private hospitals may have to be converted into Corona hospitals. If the corona infection continues to grow in this way, some hospitals can be converted into 100 percent corona hospitals.

At present, the number of active corona infected in Pune is more than Mumbai ie 61740. 15,986 people are being treated in hospitals. Of these, there are 45,754 people in home quarantine-isolation. The condition of 4423 infected people is critical. The death rate is 1.8 percent in Pune district and 1.4 percent in Pimpri-Chinchwad adjoining Pune.
