Minor Driving Rule: In many countries of the world, an age has been fixed for driving, if someone is caught driving before this age, then action is taken against him. The age for driving in India has been fixed at 18 years, which means minors cannot drive. Although it has been seen many times that people give scooty to their small children, some people also allow them to drive a car. If we tell you that you can go to jail for doing this, will you believe it?

There may be three years in jail

Actually, different rules are made for this in different states of India. In Uttar Pradesh, if a minor is allowed to drive a car, then the person doing so can be jailed for up to three years. The UP government has imposed a complete ban on driving by minors. For doing this, apart from jail, there is also a provision of a fine of Rs 25,000.

Parents will be responsible

This order has been issued recently. It is clearly written in this that if a parent gives his minor son or daughter to drive a bike or car, then he himself will be responsible for it. In this, the provision of punishment is for the owner of the vehicle or the father of the minor caught. It has been told that the license of the vehicle which is caught will also be cancelled.

License will not be made

A minor who is caught driving will not be able to get a license after completing 18 years. Such a boy or girl will not be given a license for 25 years. This was recommended by the State Child Protection Commission, after which this strict rule is being implemented. It has been told that this step has been taken in view of the increasing cases of accidents.
