No documents will be required for this.

UIDAI has released a tweet about this. The authority has said that adding a mobile number to your Aadhar card or updating it will now be a matter of minutes. No documents will be required for this.
The authority says that for this only one has to go to the nearest Aadhaar center. Here you have to request to add / update the mobile number in your Aadhaar card. Along with this, Aadhaar card holders will be able to update or change their other details as well.
It has said that there are many benefits of adding a mobile number to Aadhaar. This makes it easy to get Aadhaar linked services. For this, a fee of Rs 50 will be charged per request. You can book an appointment online before going to Aadhaar Center.
