Actually, Financial Services Secretary Vivek Joshi gave information regarding this matter on Tuesday. He said that this has been done in view of the frauds taking place regarding digital payments in the internet age.

Let us tell you, Financial Services Secretary Vivek Joshi has given this information after a meeting on fraud regarding digital payments and related issues.

Next meeting will be held in January

Joshi has said that in view of the increasing cases of digital fraud, instructions have also been given to banks. Banks have been asked to strengthen their processes and systems in advance.

Giving information about the meeting, he said that meetings will continue to be held on this issue in future also. With this, the next meeting on the matter has been scheduled for January next year.

Regarding Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) fraud, Financial Services Secretary Vivek Joshi has said that states need to pay attention to this issue. Along with this, state governments should also focus on strengthening data security.

Vivek Joshi has said that awareness about digital fraud is very important. To curb such frauds, it is necessary that the society be informed and made aware about these matters.
