On this digital platform, farmers will be given information about the crop and other things. With the help of this platform, farmers will now be able to get complete information in time, that too in their own language. Also, farmers will be able to sell crops and vegetables properly through this platform. Let us inform that Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav together have launched Kisan Sarathi through video conferencing.

On this occasion, Union Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that farmers can avail personal consultations on agriculture and allied fields directly from scientists through digital platform. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that research should be done on new technological interventions in the field of transporting farmers’ crops to their fields, godowns, markets and places where they want to sell with minimum loss.
