Monday Bank Holiday: Banks will remain closed on 17th and 18th June, this is how you can complete your bank related work

According to the list of holidays of the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed on Monday, June 17, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha in all the states of the country. While the Eid-ul-Azha holiday has been extended in Jammu and Srinagar. Banks will remain closed here till June 18.

New Delhi: Banks are closed on more than 10 days in the month of June. This includes major festivals and weekly holidays on Saturday and Sunday. There are three consecutive holidays in this month. While banks will remain closed on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha on June 17 and June 18. In such a situation, cash deposit, withdrawal, check clearance and other banking transactions and bank branch related work is going to be stalled for three consecutive days. June 17, 2024 (Monday): Eid ul-Azha.
June 18, 2024 (Tuesday): Eid-ul-Azha holiday extended in Jammu and Srinagar. Banks will remain closed from June 16 to June 18.
June 22, 2024 (Saturday): Fourth Saturday.
June 23, 2024 (Sunday): Weekly holiday.
June 30, 2024 (Sunday): Weekly holiday.

Transact using these facilities

Let us tell you that on holidays in the month of June, you can use ATM, net banking and mobile banking facilities. You can use many facilities including account balance check, money transfer, bill payment through net banking. Whereas you can use ATM to withdraw cash.

Apart from this, you can also use UPI applications like UPI PhonePe and Paytm to send money, make bill payments, check account balance, etc.

According to the Reserve Bank of India, banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Whereas banks remain closed on all Sundays of the month.
