Monsoon has weakened near Bagdogra border of Bihar. There is a strong possibility of knocking in the state by Saturday evening. It will enter the state from the eastern part of the state. After this, it will rain for the next three days. During this time the wind can blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km. Heavy rain is expected at one or two places. Here, there was heavy rain at some places in the state on Friday.

Seven people died in the thunderstorm. Four people were hit in Fatuha, one in Vaishali and two in Khagaria. Meteorologist Chandan Kumar said that pre-monsoon rains have been recorded at many places in the state in the last 24 hours. Of these, Itadi and Siswan received 70 mm, Belhar 60 mm, Adhwara 50 mm, Suryagarha 40 mm, Sherghati, Tarapur and Dinara 20 mm.

Director of Meteorological Center Vivek Sinha told in the press conference that there was a possibility of monsoon entering the state on Friday or Saturday, but on Friday it could not rain as per the monsoon standards. It was pre monsoon rain. However, there is a strong possibility of monsoon knocking in the state on Saturday. It will move towards Bihar via Jharkhand in next few hours.

Meteorologists said that the arrival of monsoon in Bagdogra was two to three days ahead of time but it was frozen for 24 to 48 hours after coming there. But the effective cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal region and the formation of easterly wind up to nine km above the surface across the state has paved the way for the onset of monsoon in the state. Both these conditions will advance the monsoon current in the north-west direction and the monsoon will knock over the state on June 12 ahead of time.

On June 13, it will spread to some parts of the state. According to meteorologists, the cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal is likely to become more effective in the next 24 hours, due to which the intensity of rain may increase in the state on June 13 with heavy rain at some places. A yellow alert of rain has been issued in the state till June 15.

In June, the
director Vivek Sinha said that there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the state for the next 24 to 48 hours. A warning has been issued to the people to be alert. With the onset of monsoon, the intensity of thunderstorms will decrease. He said that in June there is a possibility of above normal rainfall in the state. Forecasts regarding rainfall conditions in July will be issued later this month.
