The state government has written a letter to the Railways to make arrangements in view of this. According to the information received, the local rail service of the first shift of the day will be from 7 am to 12 noon, while the local service of the second shift will run from 4 pm to 9 pm.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray chaired a meeting recently and discussed the complete resumption of local train services. The meeting was attended by state government officials, railway officials and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials. The Mumbai Traffic Control Department allegedly sent a letter to the station masters informing them to resume train services at full time from the date announced by the government.
