Maharashtra latest: In view of increasing corona cases in Nanded district of Maharashtra, till 31 March all religious places like temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches have been closed.
Mumbai. In Maharashtra, the corona has been taking a gigantic form day by day and Nanded and Parbhani districts have also come under its grip. In view of the rising corona cases in Maharashtra’s Nanded district, all the religious sites like temples, mosques, gurudwaras and churches have been closed till 31 March. The District Magistrate of Nanded said that only religious gurus will be allowed to do religious rituals in religious places. According to the order, shops in Nanded can now be opened only from 7 am to 5 pm, while hotels, bars, restaurants, bakeries and swim marts will be allowed only parcels.
The main reason behind the closure of religious places in Nanded is the fast growing corona cases. In the last 24 hours, 625 corona cases have been reported in Nanded, which is the largest figure till date. Not only this, 3 corona patients have died in these 24 hours. So far, 29145 corona cases have been reported in Nanded, while 627 people have died.
There are currently 3728 corona active cases in Nanded.
Night curfew from 19 to 21 March
There is a similar situation in Parbhani district of Maharashtra. In view of the increasing corona cases in Parbhani, the administration has decided to impose night curfew from March 19 to March 25. This night curfew will be between 7 pm and 6 am. Apart from essential services during this night curfew, other things will remain closed.
More than 25 thousand cases of corona in 24 hours
Let us know that in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra, 25,833 Corona cases have been reported, while 58 people have died. For the third consecutive day in the entire state, Corona has touched the figure of 25 thousand, which is continuously increasing the concern of the government. In fact, out of all the Corona cases filed in the last few days, 60 percent of the cases are from Maharashtra alone.
In the month of February, there was a growing case of Corona in Maharashtra. But from the beginning of March, cases started growing at an unbridled pace. In Maharashtra, less than 3 thousand cases were being filed every day in the month of February. But this speed has suddenly increased.
