Namo Bharat Train Closed: The operation of high speed Namo Bharat train in Ghaziabad has been stopped for two days. Due to holidays in most of the offices on Saturday and Sunday, train service has been closed on both these days.

Namo Bharat Train Closed: There will be a brake on the operation of high speed Namo Bharat train in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Namo Bharat train will not run today and tomorrow on the 17 kilometer stretch between Sahibabad and Duhai depot. Actually, the technical investigation of upgrading the signaling system of Namo Bharat train and the extension of 25 kilometers from Duhai to Meerut South beyond the priority section will start from Saturday. Therefore, it has been decided not to run this train for these two days. Due to holiday like situation in two days, people will not have to face much trouble.

According to RRTS, currently a trial run is being conducted on a section of about 25 km between Duhai to Meerut South RRTS stations. In the next two days, upgrading of signaling system, extensive testing and other related technical works will be completed on the section from Duhai to Meerut South. For the first time in the world, NCRTC has established European Train Signaling System (ETCS) Level 2 with critical interfaces to the ETCS communication backbone based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology.

Many tests have to be conducted by NCRTC to ensure passenger safety and uninterrupted operation of the cake. In these two days, tasks like interface testing and integration of onboard signaling system with the rolling stock will be carried out. Additionally, new software for interlocking, radio block center, LTE EPC and Ethernet Virtual Circuit (EVC) will also be tested. After completion of the scheduled testing work in this section, operation of Namo Bharat trains will resume on its regular schedule from Monday (January 22).
