PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Sahibabad to Ashok Nagar section of the Namo Bharat train on December 29, which will make travel between Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut easier. One ticket will allow travel in Delhi Metro and Namo Bharat train.

Noida: There is good news for Noida residents. Before the new year, PM Modi is going to give such a gift to NCR, which will also benefit the people here. According to sources, the Namo Bharat train running from Meerut to Sahibabad will now run till Ashok Nagar in Delhi. PM Modi can inaugurate the section from Sahibabad to New Ashok Nagar on 28 or 29 December. With its launch, it will become very easy for the people of Noida to go to Ghaziabad and Meerut.

Currently, to go from Noida to Ghaziabad, one has to catch the Blue Line Metro from Vaishali or take the help of a cab, but after its opening, people will reach directly from Noida to New Ashok Nagar Metro Station. They will be able to travel further in a very short time by taking Namo Bharat from there. Let us tell you that New Ashok Nagar is on the Noida border and the Blue Line Metro from Noida goes till here. An FOB has also been built to connect Namo Bharat and the Metro at this point. It will take 35 minutes to go from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut.

You will be able to travel on a single ticket

After reaching RRTS station (New Ashok Nagar) from any route of Delhi Metro, there will be no need to buy a separate ticket to travel in Namo Bharat Train. One can travel in Delhi Metro and Namo Bharat Train with a single ticket. For this, NCRTC and Delhi Metro have already announced their portability plan. This means that in the coming time, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Meerut will become a part of Delhi in terms of transport.

PM has approved for 29 December

Sources say that NCRTC had asked PMO for the date of inauguration on 28 and 29 December. It got the date of 29 December. PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate it. He will board Namo Bharat from Sahibabad station and go to New Ashok Nagar. Currently, NCRTC (National Capital Region Transport Corporation) has completed preparations to run Namo Bharat train between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar. Trial run has been completed on this 12 km track. Safety clearance has also come. After its operation, Namo Bharat running between Meerut South and Sahibabad station will start running till Delhi. People of Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi and Meerut will get great benefit from this. It will take only 35 to 40 minutes to reach Delhi and Noida from Meerut. This will also save money and time.

Now the journey will be of 54 km

Officials said that the distance between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar RRTS station is 12 km. Currently, the distance between Meerut South and Sahibabad is 42 km. With the train starting till New Ashok Nagar, Namo Bharat will be operational in 54 km. Anand Vihar and New Ashok Nagar stations will be added to this. Till now, the train is operating till 9 stations, while the number of stations will increase to 11 km.

Anand Vihar station will be the center point

The underground Anand Vihar RRTS station will be one of the most crowded passenger movement hubs on the corridor. The station is connected to two metro lines (Blue and Pink), Anand Vihar railway station and two ISBTs – one towards Delhi and the other towards Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh. Due to this, a large crowd of passengers travel here on a daily basis. Anand Vihar RRTS station has been designed as a model of multi-modal integration with these various modes of transportation to provide better convenience and access to NCRTC passengers.
