Ghaziabad Latest News In Hindi: For the convenience of passengers, a free shuttle service has been started between Ghaziabad’s Namo Bharat Station and Shaheed Sthal, New Bus Adda Metro Station. NCRTC is planning several schemes including e-rickshaws and footover bridges to improve lastmile connectivity.
Ghaziabad: NCRTC has started a free shuttle service between Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station and Shaheed Sthal, New Bus Adda Metro Station in Uttar Pradesh for the convenience of passengers. This initiative has been taken to improve last mile connectivity for passengers. There is a distance of about 300 meters between Namo Bharat and Metro Station. E-rickshaws are running under shuttle service between these two stations.
In the coming days, Shaheed Sthal New Bus Adda Metro Station will be connected to Namo Bharat Station by a footover bridge. Its construction work is currently underway. NCRTC is in talks with feeder operators, cab services, auto-rickshaws and bike-taxis to improve last mile connectivity for the convenience of passengers on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor.
Let us tell you that currently electric buses operated by Ghaziabad City Transport Services Limited are already providing last mile connectivity at all Namo Bharat stations in Ghaziabad. These buses run on seven different routes including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, DPS Rajnagar Guldhar, Duhai, Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South and Modi Nagar North stations.
