Neet PG was also demanded to be postponed after the exams of various boards including CBSE, university exams and entrance exams were postponed. A group of doctors had also filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking to postpone the NEET PG examination. The petition said that hundreds of candidates giving Neet PG are treating Corona patients these days. Calling them exam center to take the exam will threaten the lives of thousands of people. The petition cited the Central Government’s decision to cancel the CBSE 10th exam and postpone the 12th exam. The petitioners have stated that earlier the private PG examination was to be held in January 2021 but it was postponed due to the status of Kovid-19. But then the situation was much better than today. There were relatively fewer cases of corona infection then.
Stalin raised questions on conducting the Neet PG exam among Corona
DMK President MK Stalin had questioned whether this is the right time for NEET PG exam. Leader of Opposition in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Stalin said, “The second wave of Kovid-19 has now canceled the CBSE examinations. With the rise in the number of new cases and deaths, when our doctors are struggling with this challenge, is it the right time for the post-graduation course for National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination? ”
