NEET UG 2025: Medical entrance exam NEET UG 2025 is proposed on 4 May 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the exam date. It is necessary to pass NEET UG for admission in any UG course of medical including MBBS. Now three-four months are left for NEET UG exam. Meanwhile, there are also 12th board exams. We have brought for you the study plan of the last three months. By following which a good rank can be achieved in NEET UG.

In fact, to get admission in MBBS course of a top medical college, it is not necessary to just pass NEET UG. Rather, the rank should also be very good. Despite tough competition and challenging preparations, if you focus and finalize your preparation so far in the last three months, then it is not impossible to pass NEET UG with a good score.

NEET UG 2025: Exam Pattern of NEET UG

The syllabus of NEET UG 2025 is the same as last year. The questions asked in it will be of 11th-12th level. In this, questions of 750 marks will be asked from four subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology. Each subject will have two sections – Section A and Section B. Section A will have 35 questions of 140 marks and Section B will have 15 questions of 40 marks. Out of 15 questions of section B, only 10 have to be done. There will also be negative marking in the exam. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Special care has to be taken of this in the exam.

Age Limit for NEET UG

The minimum age of candidates for NEET UG should be 17 years as on 31 December 2025. While there is no maximum age limit.

  • NEET UG 2025: Important points for preparation in three months
  • Practice 150-250 questions daily covering all topics, aiming to give at least 165 correct answers.
  • A short term crash course for NEET 2025 can also be considered to increase the speed and accuracy in solving the questions.
  • Do not devote too much time to coaching classes, instead do focused self study for 3-6 hours daily.
  • Read NCERT books for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Along with giving mock tests, solve old papers also.
