Sharing your Netflix password can get you into big trouble. Netflix is a well-known name when it comes to OTT platforms. Many popular series and movies of the world can be seen in this app. But the only danger is if you share the Netflix screen and its password with someone else.
The company has started a crackdown (Netflix Password Sharing Crackdown) against password sharing in many Latin American countries. Users who share passwords may be charged extra.
Currently, this rule has been introduced in America by the organization. But it is not known when this rule will be implemented in India, but it is better to be careful in advance.
How to remove Netflix share password?
- First of all you need to change Netflix password. There are a few things to keep in mind while changing passwords.
- The password should not be used on other websites or apps. That password should have 8 characters.
- Don’t give a password that can be easily guessed.
- The password must contain a mixture of letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers and symbols.
- Now sign out from all devices except your own.
- Then log into the app again with the new password.
How to verify Netflix account?
- A link will be sent by Netflix to your email and mobile number. which will be linked to your account.
- Click on that link and you will see a 4 digit code.
- That 4 digit code must be entered within 15 minutes. This will send a message to Netflix that the account is yours and verified.
It has been reported that users who are sharing passwords are being mailed by Netflix asking you to buy an additional membership or deposit $7.99 per month (which is Rs. 660 in Indian currency).
Netflix mentions in their plan that additional members can now be added to Standard and Premium plans without ads.
Basically, Netflix has taken this step to increase the number of subscribers and revenue. The organization has not yet announced that this rule will be implemented in any country other than America.
