New Bank Rule: 2 banks changed rules related to savings accounts, know what will be the impact on customers star_border

ICICI Bank and Yes Bank have increased the charges on many services. Besides, decisions have also been taken to close many types of savings accounts. This information is given on the websites of banks.

Yes Bank and ICICI Bank have decided to change the service charges of savings accounts. This will come into effect from May 1. Both banks have also decided to close certain types of accounts. Information regarding this has been given on the official website of Yes Bank. Yes Bank customers can get complete information about this by visiting the website. It has been said on the bank’s website that the Minimum Average Balance (MAB) of different variants of savings accounts has been changed.

-The minimum average balance in Account Pro Max will be Rs 50,000. A limit of Rs 1,000 has been fixed for the maximum charge.

-The minimum balance in Savings Account Pro Plus, Yes Essence SA and YES Respect SA will now be Rs 25,000. The maximum limit of charge for this account has been fixed at Rs 750.

-Now the minimum balance in Saving Account PRO will be Rs 10,000. A maximum limit of Rs 750 has been fixed for charges.

Yes Bank has decided to close many of its accounts. Among these, there are some such accounts including Saving Exclusive, Yes Saving Select, which were started keeping in mind the needs of the customers.

ICICI Bank has also changed the charges for many types of services. These include minimum average balance, cash transaction charges, ATM interchange fees etc. The bank has also decided to close some accounts. These include Advantage Woman Savings Account, Privilege Accounts Advantage Woman Saving Account, Asset Linked Saving Account and Aura Savings Account.

ICICI Bank has made the following changes in the Regular Savings Account:

-The annual fee of debit card has been increased to Rs 2000. For rural areas it will be Rs 99 annually.

-There will be no charge for a check book with 25 leaves in a year. After that, Rs 4 will have to be paid for every leaf.

– Charge will be levied on IMPS transaction amount. It will be between Rs 2.50 to Rs 15 per transaction. Charges will depend on the value of the transaction.

-Transaction charges of home and non-home branches will be adjusted. These will also include third party transactions.
