Now people of the state will also be able to travel by metro with Haryana Roadways card. To travel, they neither need to stand at the roadways counter nor need to stand in line for metro tickets. Apart from traveling on roadways and metro, you will be able to pay for parking, shopping and toll with just one card. It has also been started in Hisar district on Wednesday. The Roadways Department has sent 90 National Common Mobility Cards to Hisar district. These cards will be made available absolutely free of cost.
On the lines of Delhi, now you will be able to travel in metro with Haryana Roadways card. National Common Mobility Card has been issued by the department for this. After getting this card, passengers will not have to pay cash fare in the bus. Apart from this, roadways bus conductors will also get rid of the hassle of taking and giving change in the bus. At present 90 cards have been given to Hisar depot, out of which 20 cards have been sent to Hansi sub depot.

You can also make purchases using the card
Card holders will be able to use it for small and big shopping. It is necessary that there should be money in the card as per shopping. The holder will not need to keep other credit cards and debit cards. The card holder can recharge Rs 2,000 for traveling and any amount for shopping.
National Common Mobility Card must be recharged for fare. After this, while traveling on Haryana Roadways, the fare amount will be automatically deducted just by showing the card to the ETM machine near the conductor. There is no need to pay cash to the conductor, nor will the passenger need to keep cash with him for the fare. This card will also be valid in metro rail. Where the passenger’s fare will be automatically deducted on showing the card.
Discounts will be available during travel
At present, the National Kam Mobility Card will not provide any discount during travel. After some time, five percent discount on bus tickets will be available. Senior citizens already have 50 percent discount in fare in Haryana Roadways. For them, the department will have to show the senior citizen card in advance, after which they will also be provided with the National Common Mobility Card. After that they are expected to get more discount in fare. Students will also get discount on using the card during travel.
