New Credit Card: A new credit card has been launched which is lifetime free and there is no joining fee. Know what else is special about it.

Rio has launched the YES Bank Rio RuPay Credit Card in partnership with Yes Bank and NPCI. It is a UPI-enabled product. This card makes transactions easier by integrating credit benefits with UPI. With its help, users can shop from more than 100 million merchant locations across the country. This card offers a credit limit of up to Rs 5 lakh, personalized rewards and exclusive deals to users through the Know Your Offers feature of the Rio app.

This special card is only for them

People from small cities are also showing a lot of interest in this card. During its beta launch, 60% of the applications came from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. This credit card is available to people between the ages of 21 and 60, whether they are employed or have their own business. The applicant for this card should have a minimum net monthly salary of Rs 25,000 or an annual income tax return of Rs 5 lakh. However, existing YES BANK credit card holders are not eligible.

This credit card is lifetime free

This card is lifetime free. There is also no joining fee. While this card offers many benefits, some specific transactions will be charged. 1% fee plus GST will be levied on utility payments of more than Rs 15,000 in a month, with a maximum limit of Rs 3,000 per month.

This is how you will get the benefit

Payment of education fees through third-party apps like CRED or PhonePe will attract 1% fee plus GST from October 2024, with the fee limited to Rs 5,000 per calendar month. Similarly, fuel transactions of more than Rs 10,000 per transaction will attract 1% fee plus GST, which will be limited to Rs 5,000 per month. For example, a fuel transaction of Rs 20,000 with this card will attract a fee of Rs 200 and tax.
