New Electricity Connection: Getting an electricity connection within Rajasthan has become even easier. Now there is no need to visit the electricity department office for a new electricity connection. Now the employees of the electricity department will come to your home for electricity connection and will do the connection. The application process for new electricity connection has been made more easy through e-Mitra. Discom Chairman Aarti Dogra said that the e-Mitra application has now been integrated with the New Connection Management System module of the Discom.
With this, now along with the application on e-Mitra, all the processes like inspection done at the level of Discom personnel, issuing demand note etc. will also be based on the NCMS module. With this, despite applying through e-Mitra, the applicants will no longer need to visit the Discom offices for connection and the access of services to them will be ensured with ease and transparency. With this, the monitoring of pending connections will also be done online. Jaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer Discom have started this facility simultaneously.
Paperless system will get strengthened
With this new system of the electricity department, the increasing burden of files can also be reduced by preparing separate manual documents for every connection in the sub-division offices. This will strengthen the paperless system in the working system of Rajasthan Discom and we will also get relief in getting electricity connection.
Transparency will come in site inspection
The JEN Site Verification mobile application has also been integrated with NCMS for inspection of the site after the applicant applies for a new connection. With this, the feasibility and estimate of the new connection will be prepared on the spot. Integration of JEN Site Verification App and NCMS will bring transparency in on-site inspection and will also save time.
