New Excise Policy For Liquor: Order of new excise policy in this state, know the conditions

New Excise Policy For Liquor: If you are fond of drinking beer, are unable to party due to overwork many times in the office, then now there is news of relief for you. The government has come up with a new excise policy for the people working in this particular place.

Haryana Govt Allows Liquor: Employees can now enjoy chilling with colleagues over a glass of beer in their offices as the Haryana government has allowed low-volume alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine and ready-to-eat beverages inside large corporate offices. Drinks are allowed. The state government has made the change under its 2023-24 Excise Policy, which was approved by the Haryana Council of Ministers on May 9. As per the policy, the Haryana Council of Ministers on May 9, a corporate office with at least 5,000 employees in beer, liquor, and ready-to-drink drinks must have an office area of ​​one lakh square feet.

They will benefit

The order will have a major impact on corporate offices located in Haryana’s Gurugram, which is also known as the ‘Millennium City of India’. The order is made applicable to corporate offices and residences that fulfill certain conditions prescribed in the Excise Policy. Explain that special conditions have been laid down for corporate offices to allow liquor at the work place. Under the new liquor policy, only offices with a minimum area of ​​one lakh square feet in a premises will be granted a license (L-10F) for consumption of low-volume alcoholic beverages.

This will be the condition

  • The minimum area of ​​the canteen or restaurant for corporate offices shall not be less than 2,000 square feet.
  • The licensing procedure will be applicable for bar licenses.
  • The L-10F license will be granted on payment of an annual fixed fee of Rs 10 lakh on such terms and conditions as may be specified by the Excise and Taxation Commissioner.
  • These offices will have to pay a security amount of Rs 3 lakh in addition to the license fee.
  • The L-10F license will be provided by the Collector after getting approval from the Excise and Taxation Commissioner.
  • The renewal of the license will be done by the Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner of the district on behalf of the Collector.
  • The application fee for grant of temporary license (L-12AC) to organizers for serving liquor during entertainment shows, exhibitions, comedy shows, magic shows, mega-shows, celebrity events etc. has been increased.
