New Expressway: 32 KM distance from Akshardham to Baghpat will be covered in 25 minutes

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Update: The first phase of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has been completed and is expected to be inaugurated this month. Now the distance from Akshardham Temple (Delhi) to Baghpat can be covered in 25-30 minutes.

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Update: The work of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is going on in full swing. The work of its first phase has been completed. National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) sources say that the date of inauguration has not been decided yet, but it can be inaugurated anytime this month. Now the distance of about 32 kilometers from Akshardham Temple to Baghpat can be covered in just 25-30 minutes.

After the start of Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, on one hand it will be easy for those going to Baghpat from the country’s capital Delhi. On the other hand, the journey of people living in Geeta Colony, Wazirabad, Sonia Vihar, Yamuna Vihar, Shastri Park, Mustafabad, Karawal Nagar, Ghaziabad’s Loni and Shamli will also become easier.

Delhi-Dehradun highway will start from Akshardham

This expressway will start from Akshardham and will pass over Khajuri Pushta Road and enter UP from the MCD toll booth built on the Delhi-UP border. This distance from Akshardham is 15 kilometers. This expressway will connect Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Delhi to Dehradun journey in just 2 hours instead of 6 hours

After the completion of this expressway, the travel time between Delhi and Dehradun will be reduced considerably. This 212 km long expressway will reduce the travel time from 6 hours to just 2 hours. This expressway will pass through many cities. This expressway will connect cities like Baghpat, Shamli and Saharanpur. The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, being built at a cost of Rs 12 thousand crore, includes 16 entry and exit points and 76 km of service road.

Asia’s longest wildlife corridor

Before reaching Dehradun, you will also find a 12 km long elevated road, which is being called a wildlife corridor. It will pass over dense forests and you can also see wild animals. This corridor will pass through Rajaji National Park. It will be Asia’s longest wildlife corridor.
