New Expressway: 5 hours distance will be covered in 2 hours, new expressway is about to open

New expressway: This expressway will start from Hoskote in Karnataka and end at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. 2560 hectares of land has been acquired for the construction of this expressway costing Rs 18,000 crore.

Why is this expressway special for South India

-The 258 km long Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway is being built at a cost of Rs 18,000 crore. This expressway will start from Hoskote in Karnataka and end at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. 2560 hectares of land has been acquired for the construction of this expressway.

-The Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway will cover 3 states Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. 41 underpasses and 17 flyovers are being built on this 258 km long expressway. The speed limit of vehicles here has been fixed at 120 km per hour.

-The most special thing about the Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway is that after its construction, the distance between the two cities will be reduced by 80 km. This will reduce the travel time of 5 to 6 hours to 2 and a quarter hours.

-Since Chennai and Bengaluru are two major industrial cities of the country, an industrial corridor will be established on this expressway, which will boost the manufacturing sector.

This expressway will pass through these cities

The Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway will pass through several cities including Hostake, Malur, Bangarapet, Kolar Gold Fields, Chittoor, Ranipet and Sriperumbudur. The special thing is that Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka is famous for gold mines, where gold mining used to take place once upon a time.
