More than 5 lakh small and big vehicles pass through the Alwar-Rajgarh road every day. According to Mahi Lal, XEN, PWD, consideration is being given to making the Alwar-Rajgarh road a four-lane road. The load of vehicles is high and accidents also occur. It will be taken forward after the approval of higher officials.
It is noteworthy that most accidents happen on this route. Keeping this in mind, PWD has made this plan to make this route accident free under the Road Safety Campaign. Under the Road Safety Campaign, PWD got the target to make the roads accident-free. Keeping this in mind, this route has been selected. PWD will prepare the DPR of this route. The four-lane will be constructed after departmental approval. There will not be much need for land acquisition. There is empty space on both sides of the road.
