New Delhi. It would not be wrong to say that UP has been blessed with the maximum number of expressways in the country. Another name is going to be added to this list soon. This state with the most population in the country will soon get another expressway, which will reduce the distance of 90 kilometers to 31 kilometers. Currently the route takes 2 to 3 hours to cover. That route will be completed in just 15 minutes. Not only this, with the construction of this small expressway, two states will be directly connected to the airport of UP.

Actually, we are talking about Faridabad-Jewar Expressway, the construction of which has started in June last year. The National Highway Authority says that this expressway will be ready by June 2025 i.e. in the next one year. It will be directly connected to Sector 65 of Faridabad from the airport being built in Jewar, UP. This will benefit the passengers going to the airport from Gurugram and other districts of Haryana. It will take only 15 minutes to cover this distance by car. Currently it takes more than 2 hours to go from Faridabad to Jewar.

What will be its route?

Jewar-Faridabad Expressway is being built with 6 lanes and will originate from Vallabhnagar, Ampur and Jhuppa villages of Gautam Buddha Nagar and connect to Faridabad via Bahpur, Kalan, Mohana, Narhawali villages of Haryana. This expressway will also be connected to Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, Kundli Ghaziabad Palwal (KGP) i.e. Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Kundli, Manesar, Palwal (KMP) i.e. Western Peripheral Expressway.

How much will it cost

According to NHAI, the construction of this 31 kilometer expressway will cost around Rs 2,414 crore. With its completion, economic activity will not only increase in NCR, industrial and commercial projects will also gain momentum. Through this route, not only Faridabad but Gurugram will also get direct connectivity to Jewar Airport.

Property prices will increase by 40 percent

Faridabad-Jewar Expressway is also very important because after its completion, the prices of real estate in the villages and other areas falling on the way of the expressway will increase by 30 to 40 percent. Therefore, this expressway will not only provide connectivity, but will also give a boost to everything from real estate to industry.
