Link Expressway in UP: CM Yogi has said that four more link expressways will be built in the state. Along with this, the work of connecting the already built expressways will also be expedited.
Yogi government will build four new link expressways in the state. For this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to provide proposals soon. Chief Minister Yogi has also stressed on the need to further expand the expressways for better connectivity.
The Chief Minister gave these instructions on Thursday while reviewing the progress of the projects of under construction and new expressways, industrial corridor and defense corridor. He directed that the Ganga Expressway connecting Meerut to Prayagraj should be opened to the general public by December at any cost so that devotees can take advantage of it in Prayagraj Kumbh-2025. Expressing satisfaction over the progress of the construction of Gorakhpur Link Expressway, he said that it will become a means of excellent connectivity for Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Azamgarh and Ambedkar Nagar. Gave instructions to speed up work towards connecting Bundelkhand Expressway to Chitrakoot.
No new investment proposal should remain pending: Yogi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday reviewed the progress of the projects of under construction and new expressways, industrial corridor and defense corridor. While reviewing the Defence Corridor, he said that big companies like Brahmos Aerospace, Aeroalloy Technology in Lucknow node, Bharat Dynamics Limited in Jhansi node, Adani Defence Systems and Technologies in Kanpur node, Amitech Electronics Limited and Anchor Research Labs LLP in Aligarh are setting up their units. No new proposal should be kept pending.
Gave instructions to continuously review the investment proposals of the Global Investors Conference and to immediately allot land and give incentives to the investor. The Chief Minister said that there is a need to update the bylaws of the authorities amid changing circumstances. The rules should be made more investment friendly. Gave instructions to speed up the land acquisition process in the newly formed Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA).
