Last week, flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata and Goa started from Hindon and next week a second flight to Bengaluru is also going to start during the day. This will provide convenience to the people living in the nearby districts as well as the city dwellers. The connectivity of Hindon Airport is constantly increasing. Six years after its opening, a commercial flight took off from Hindon Airport for the first time this month. Now a flight to Bhubaneswar is also going to start from here. It will start on March 30.
Flights are being operated from Hindon Airport to Kishangarh, Nanded, Adampur, Ludhiana and Bathinda, Goa, Kolkata and Bengaluru. Now the way has been cleared for flights to Bhubaneswar as well.
Air India Express has confirmed this. As per the schedule, the flight will depart from Hindon Airport at 9:20 am and reach Bhubaneswar at 11:45 am. On the return, it will depart from Bhubaneswar at 12:15 pm and reach Hindon at 2:30 pm. The flight ticket from Ghaziabad to Bhubaneswar is around Rs 6400 to Rs 14,750. On the other hand, the ticket price from Delhi to Bhubaneswar is seen to be up to Rs 24,000.
Flights from Chennai on 22nd and Jammu on 23rd
Flight services are being provided to 8 cities from Hindon Airport. Soon the number of cities connected to Hindon will increase to 11. Before Bhubaneswar, flights to Chennai will start from Hindon on March 22 and to Jammu from March 23. A second flight to Bengaluru will also start in the day from March 10. In such a situation, the movement of people at Hindon Airport will increase and the crowd at Delhi’s IGI Airport will reduce to some extent.
Four cities of UP will also be connected
The connectivity of Hindon Airport will increase further in the coming days. Efforts are underway to start flights from Ghaziabad to Lucknow, Banaras, Ayodhya and Prayagraj. Local MP and Chairman of the Aviation Advisory Committee Atul Garg is advocating for this. When flights start for these four cities, Hindon Airport will be connected to 15 cities. If connectivity increases, then people of Ghaziabad as well as Noida, Delhi, Hapur, Bulandshahr and Meerut will also benefit from it.
