Hisar Airport Flights: CM Naib Singh Saini will inaugurate Phase-2 of Hisar Airport on June 20. After Hisar district of Haryana, domestic airports will also be constructed in 5 other states, which include Karnal, Ambala, Panchkula, Narnaul and Bhiwani.
Chandigarh. Flights to 5 states including the state capital Chandigarh are going to start from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, Haryana. An MoU has also been signed with Alliance Air Aviation Limited regarding flights from Maharaja Agrasen Airport. People of the state will soon be able to fly from Hisar. In such a situation, flight operations will be started from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Jammu.
In fact, Thursday was an important day for the Civil Aviation Department of Haryana. The CM signed an agreement with the company on Thursday. Government officials said that the Haryana government has applied online to DGCA for permission and we hope that permission will be received from there soon. In such a situation, people will now be able to reach neighboring states in three to four hours.
People of Rajasthan and Punjab will also be able to take advantage
After the opening of Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar, where the people of Haryana will get the benefit. At the same time, people of adjoining Punjab and Rajasthan will also be able to take advantage of it. However, the fares have not been decided yet and the MoU has been signed with only one airline service. The government hopes that in the coming days, there will be an agreement with more airlines and their flights will also be operational from here.
Opposition parties of Haryana raised questions
The Maharaja Agrasen Airport of Hisar in Haryana, while the government is saying that it will soon become operational, the opposition is raising questions about it. Hisar’s newly appointed MP Jaiprakash has said that national and international flights will not fly from here, it will only remain Adani’s logistics hub.
On the other hand, the signing of this MoU with Alliance Air has opened up more possibilities to pursue the broader goals of making Hisar an integrated aviation hub. Air connectivity boosts the state’s economy. There are some formalities left at the airport, which will be completed soon. Currently, national flights have been started from this airport, and in the future, international flights will also be operated.
