According to the news, bookings for Phuket and Ho Chi Minh City are scheduled to begin in December, while flights to Boston and Los Angeles may begin as early as 2024. Phuket and Ho Chi Minh City services will be operated on narrow-body aircraft, while flights to Boston and LA are to be operated on leased Boeing 777s and Airbus A350s. The airline hopes to get five aircraft
The airline expects to add more than 30 wide-body and narrow-body aircraft to its fleet by March 2024, including A350s, B777s and A320neos. Sources say the airline is expected to get five Boeing 777, six Airbus A350 and 20 A320 aircraft. Apart from this, Air India is planning to increase the frequency of flights to Australia on Delhi-Sydney and Mumbai-Melbourne routes.

Air India has shared an important information for domestic passengers. The airline has said that from November 15, 2023, all domestic Air India flights to and from Chennai will operate from Terminal 4. Also, all the international flights of Air India to and from Chennai will remain unaffected and will continue to operate as usual.
