Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu flagged off the flight to Goa from Hindon Civil Terminal Airport on Saturday. During this, 70 people from Ghaziabad, including Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg, MLA Ajit Pal Tyagi and Sanjeev Sharma, left for Goa on the first flight.
On this occasion, Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu said that better connectivity will be provided to other cities from Hindon. He informed that flight services will also be started for Prayagraj, Lucknow, Ayodhya and Varanasi in UP. There is a full plan to start Jewar Airport from April. 180 seater aircraft will depart from Hindon. Flights to Goa and Kolkata started on Saturday. Flights to Bengaluru will also begin from Sunday. Flights to Jammu and Chennai will also begin from Hindon Airport from March 22. Two flights a day to Bengaluru will begin from March 22 itself.
