New Flight service: With the aim of providing affordable air service to small cities of the country, flights are being started from Bathinda to Ghaziabad. On Tuesday, a test flight from Ghaziabad reached Bathinda, which included the airline’s staff, crew members and people associated with the company.
Formal start of air service: Air service will start from Monday and passengers will be able to avail cheap air service for 5 days a week. From Bathinda the plane will go to Hindon airbase in Ghaziabad.
Aircraft information: DC Shaukat Ahmed Pare said that preparations have been completed. Initially 19 seater aircraft will be operated. If positive response is received, 72 seater airline can also start.
Information about test flight: Officials of the airline company involved in operating the aircraft said that the test flight will be run till Friday.
Flight Timings: According to the company’s business head Ratan Kumar, booking has started. After taking off from Dehradun at 8:10 am, the plane will reach Hindon Airport at 9:05 am. After taking off from Hindon at 9:25 am, it will reach Ludhiana at 10:55 am. In return, it will take off at 11:10 am and reach Hindon Civil Terminal at 12:35 pm.
Fare: The starting fare has been kept at Rs 999.
Air Operating Company: Fly Big Company has been given the responsibility to operate flights from Bathinda.
Ude Har Nagrik Scheme: Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport has been selected under the government’s Ude Har Nagrik scheme, the main objective of which is to increase air connectivity to small cities of the country.
